About this Qualification
This qualification is for people wishing to work with older people in the community. This could be in residential care or community care settings. The qualification will enable people to carry out activities to maintain personal care and other activities for people in an aged care setting.
What you will Learn
The Certificate IV in Aged Care will teach you to assist, support and care for the elderly within a wide range of contexts. You will gain the knowledge and skills required by Team Leaders and complex care coordinators.

Pre-requisites
To gain entry into CHC40108 Certificate IV in aged care, a candidate must be recognised as competent, through a recognised training program or recognition process, against the following core units from CHC30208 Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent):
