About this Qualification

The Certificate II in English as a Second Language (ESL) is a qualification for adults from non-English speaking backgrounds, introducing you to language and reading skills to help you undertake further education and training, find and maintain employment and join in many work and social activities in the community. You will improve your skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing relevant to your life and work in Australia.

VPAU511 Speak and listen to simple texts for employment
VPAU512 Read and write simple texts for employment
VPAU513 Observe and report on activities in a workplace
VPAU516 Work effectively in an Australian workplace

Elective Units

VPAU554 Use basic computing language and skills
VPAU557 Use services in the local community
VPAU559 Locate health and medical information
